The Winter 2025 session of our job readiness program, "Preparation for Job Hunting," has successfully concluded.
This time, we partnered with the nonprofit organization, The Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP), to provide the program free of charge to five individuals seeking early employment.
Participants attended workshops on how to write resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, and received personalized resume reviews. They also took part in one-on-one sessions with career coaches, eagerly learning the knowledge and strategies needed to successfully navigate the U.S. job market.
We received encouraging feedback from participants, such as "I feel more confident" and "The support was reassuring," which has been a great source of motivation for us as well.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the instructors who supported the program and to all those who contributed through donations.
The next session of Preparation for Job Hunting is scheduled for the fall. We will share more details as soon as they are finalized.
